I recently had the great pleasure of capturing Kim and Tom's wedding reception. Although it was a wet August day, we managed to get some great shots during a short dry spell. The Best Western Valley at Ironbridge is a great venue and offers plenty of opportunities for photos in the grounds or by the River Severn.

As a photographer, my goal is to record your memories and special moments so that you can look back on them and share them with others. For me, the sharing process is more than just online through social media, it includes printing and receiving a hard copy of your image. So, when I was recently offered the opportunity to review a SAAL Wall-Décor product, I was excited to share the process of capturing images to the physical printing.
to edit.
I had seen some SAAL products at the Photography Show 2017 and was impressed with their quality. I have used other suppliers, but SAAL offers a wide-range of professional products to meet many needs. From photobooks to posters, they can meet many printing needs.
After a recent day-out with my boys, I had a lovely candid image of my youngest enjoying himself. After a quick edit in Lightroom, I knew I wanted to preserve it. I went online to http://www.saal-digital.co.uk and chose the Wall Décor tab. The site is easy to navigate with tabs to choose your product. I selected the Acrylic glass, chose my format 30 x 45 and thickness 5 mm. The next stage was to upload my image, the software let me know if the image quality was sufficient. The final step was to click on the shopping cart and complete my payment and shipping details. The order was processed swiftly and dispatched the next day; although delivery was from Germany it arrived in a couple of days in secure and suitable packaging.
Upon opening, I was extremely satisfied with the results and couldn’t wait to display my new image. The Acrylic print gives spatial depth the image comes to life on the surface. I chose to mount the image myself, but different mounting options are available. The high-quality acrylic glass is available in 5mm or 10mm. All the edges are deburred, so that there is no trace left from cutting. The acrylic glass print is a high-quality and elegant decoration.
Overall, I was very happy with the service and the product. The website is easy to navigate and complete your order. The order and delivery process was swift. Finally, upon receipt the completed product is fantastic and a professional finish. I will be using SAAL again for my printing. Disclosure: This is a collaborative post, SAAL provided the product in return for an honest review.
Last night we had another night of Hygge. If you don't know, Hygge is the art of creating intimacy to cosiness of the soul and taking pleasure from the presence of soothing things. For us it's come to mean a monthly evening of sharing good times. We share food and play games and everyone has a great time.
My Sunday Photo this week is just a small moment in time from our Hygge night with T relaxed and enjoying some food.
This week's My Sunday Photo was taken at Sunnycroft, Shropshire. Sunnycroft is a National Trust property very close to us, but we've never visited before. It was a lovely sunny February afternoon, so we decided to visit and check out it out. I managed to get a couple of shots of the house and gardens.
My Sunday Photo this week is from a short walk we had with family at Delamere Forest. Living in Shropshire means it's difficult to see family regularly from where I grew up in Lancashire. Fortunately Delamere Forest is about half-way between and meant we could meet for a short walk and the boys could see their cousin.
Here the boys are trying to coax the Big Bad Mouse out of his hole in a tree, he never did come out. Delamere Forest is a Forestry Commission site with parking, cafe, walks and cycle tracks to keep you busy. The boys had a great day and although it was cold it stayed dry.
