Any parent will tell you that there are not enough hours in the day; things are especially busy when planning an event like a kid’s birthday party. When we were organising our little one’s 2nd Birthday Party we wanted to see if we could save some time. We decided to try partybagsandsupplies.co.uk they provide party supplies, themes and party bags for many occasions.
Ted loves dinosaurs so we chose the Jurassic World party theme, the product was dispatched and arrived in a couple of days. Everything was in the box: a table cloth, cups, plates, napkins and pre-filled party bags. Each party bag contained a dinosaur mask, a dinosaur flyer, a stretchy dinosaur and some sweets.

This is my brand new feature 'Do you remember?', where we take a nostalgic trip down memory lane with rose-tinted glasses and remember something from yesteryear.
This weeks topic of conversation is the NES. The NES was the Nintendo Entertainment System and was the starting console for many young gamers. Classic games included Super Mario Bros, Zelda and unbelievably difficult Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (I still have nightmares about not being able to complete that game). My memories of the NES are setting it up, plugging it in to the aerial socket of the TV and then having to tune it in (manually). Once it was on though, the loading times were quick (compared to the Commodore 64) and you could save your game as you went along. No need for memory cards! Occasionally you might have to give the cartridge a blow to clean it out but other than that it was a reliable, durable fun games console. Nintendo are also hoping you remember the NES as they are about to re-release the console with 30 pre-installed games. An additional NES controller is available if you want some 2 player action. If you have a fond memory from yesteryear then let us know in the comments.
