In the world we live in smartphones have become an essential part of life. In this blog post I will be highlighting a few Apps for iPhones which are helpful for all Dads out there. Instagram is a great App for taking photos of your kids. It's easy to use and lets you add filters to give an arty feel. Then you can either share them on the App, Facebook and Twitter or just save them to your camera roll. Pinterest is an App that allows you to pin ideas, information, recipes or whatever you can imagine. It's a great resource for finding craft ideas, educational tips or a costume for World Book Day. Magisto Magisto is an auto-video creator. You choose the videos and images, the style and music and Magisto does the rest. It compiles a video which you can share on Facebook or upload to YouTube. It sounds simple but creates some really nice videos to share. Endless Reader or 123 Endless Reader or 123 are great Apps to introduce children to words and numbers. The noises, characters and music are engaging and the drag and drop gameplay make it easy for a toddler to use. A free download is available but there are additional charges for the full content. Geocaching Geocaching Intro is an App I've talked about in previous posts. Geocaching makes any walk a little bit more interesting by adding a treasure hunt element to it. Throughout the world there are Geocaches and you can even create your own. This App gives an introduction to Geocaching and lets you log your finds. If there are any Apps you can recommend for Dads then leave a comment below.
