This is the first in my new weekly feature Classical Music Mondays. Over the last 10 years, I have started to listen to classical music more. Part of the reason is that I enjoy listening to soundtracks. The work of John Williams, Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone are among some of my favourites. So I thought I'd create a new feature and share a new classical music track each week.
This weeks classical music choice is Barber's Adagio for Strings. It has been used in many films and TV shows, most notably in Platoon. There is even a dance version by William Orbit.
I enjoy it because when I listen, I get a great sense of emotion. It's a classic and I think a great song to start the feature on.
I hope you enjoy it, let me know in the comments and let me know your favourite classical songs.
