This is the final blog in a 3-part series about gifts for Dads this Christmas. This blog gives ideas of gifts for a Dad for under £10. Genuinely Christmas is a period for spending time with family, but if you are still looking for gift ideas then these might help to make Christmas a little more magical for your Dad, husband, partner or loved one.
We have avoided the usual Dad gifts of socks, ties and scarves as most Dads have still got the ones they received last year.
Jason Bourne DVD - £9.99
Jason Bourne is due for release on 28th November 2016, the latest instalment in the Bourne franchise. With the return of Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass directing this on the face of it should be another classic. IMDB gives it a rating of 6.8/10.
Captain America: Civil War DVD - £9.99
Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” is as near to an Avengers movie as you can get without being an Avengers movie. Pitting Team Cap versus Team Iron Man, this film is sure to include plenty of action and special effects to satisfy Marvel fans. IMDB gives it a rating of 8/10.
LEGO Star Wars Resistance X-Wing Fighter - £6.47
Everyone loves LEGO and although the Death Star is the crème de la crème of LEGO Star Wars sets not everyone can afford the price tag. Here’s nice set which includes an X-Wing and Resistance Pilot, so your loved one has something to build (and play with) on Christmas Day.
BERON 3D VR Box Mini Headset Glasses - £9.99
With the release of PlayStation VR, Virtual Reality has the potential to take off this year. Looking at the more expensive choices, this is an alternative option providing Virtual Reality on an affordable budget. Whether VR will be the next big thing remains to be seen, but in the interim, here’s a substitute so your husband, partner or Dad is not missing out.
Lean in 15 - The Sustain Plan Book - £8.00
If your husband or partner has been moaning about their ‘Dad bod’, then this book might be the motivation they need to get off the couch and in to the kitchen. The added benefit being that you might see an improvement in your own daily diet. Joe Wicks, aka The Body Coach provides recipes and 15 minute workouts to sustain incredible body results. Ideal for Dads with a busy lifestyle and little free time.
Classic FM: Night at The Movies CD - £9.99
I must admit that my guilty pleasure is Classical Music, especially when driving. This Christmas an ideal gift could be the latest release from Classic FM, a collection of movie themes from classic films such as Gladiator, Star Wars, Saving Private Ryan and more.
Bonus Present
Here’s an extra gift idea that didn’t make it in to the other blog posts . Cards Against Humanity - £25.00 This is not a game for the kids, but lots of fun. If you are easily offended, then I would not suggest this game is for you. However, if you like to make up extreme situations all in the name of a laugh, then hours of fun are available with Cards Against Humanity. One player asks a question from a Black Card, and everyone else answers with their funniest White Card. With reviews like ‘This game is an abomination that left me and my friends unable to look each other in the eyes. Five stars’ it is worth a look.
